what i mean: did you know that ginny weasley is harry james potter’s soulmate and the love of his life and that at 12 years old he risked his life just to save hers and that he describes her as the only real thing in the world and his best source of comfort and that he smells her in amortentia and that he dreams about her constantly and that he even daydreamed about her weeping over his lifeless form and declaring her love for him and that he got hit by bludgers playing quidditch because he couldn’t stop staring at her and that he even stared at her dot on the marauder’s map and pined for her and that the last thought he had before he died was of her? did you know that harry james potter is one parched son of a witch? are you aware??

me, in an old woman voice: kids these days call anything that isn’t canon or likely to be canon a crackship. back in my day, ‘crackship’ meant a ship that had no basis in canon whatsoever. like minerva mcgonagall/rabastan lestrange… or charlie weasley/salazar slytherin. real illogical shit.
