dreamscapes 

I was shooting photos on a hike one day and this view sort of called out to me. I’ve seen the view a million times, but that afternoon it had this certain allure. Every once in a while I’ll get a distinct feeling and lure to a random subject. I’ve learned to trust these feelings and the confidence that accompanies them. Once I developed the film I was anxious to see the shot. It was surreal. I can only compare the feeling it gave me to a dream, hence the name. 

When I was in elementary school I had a computer class. I can’t recall anything I did in there, but I do remember the computers. They were these bright white macintosh computers. They were really sleek and minimal for the time. The apple logo always caught my attention. The colors were radiant and welcoming. They gave me the sense of something futuristic and other worldly. The feeling of a dream, but in reality.

That apple that once lured me away from the thoughts of nintendo and checkered vans is a big inspiration for these dreamscapes.
