I think Hayao Miyazaki hates otakus and the kawaii culture, he hired a child to voice Chihiro because all the seiyuu that auditioned for the role of Chihiro, didn’t listen to Miyazaki’s orders “tone down the kawaii, act and sound natural”
Miyazaki is also a feminist, and he does a great job portraying female characters, I can see why he hates the borderline pedotastic Kawaii culture. He’s a man against the needless sexualization of women.
please watch your language when you talk about children. they are not animals, they are not natural disasters, they are not evil little monsters, they’re just tiny people who are 100% dependent on the adults in their lives and i find it disturbing that people think it’s hilarious and cute to talk about how much they hate them
